The Pre-licensing class can be taken either in a classroom or via distance learning/virtual class. If you choose to take the classroom version you will be awarded an MV-278 Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion. All courses follow the same curriculum, no matter which version you take. If you are able to successfully complete your course, the provider will report your completion to the DMV automatically and you won't require the certificate at the time of taking the driver's test.
